As the chariot of the Lord of the Universe – Shri Jagannath ji, who is like an ocean of compassion and is the friend of all humankind, moves ahead (during the Rath Yatra), innumerable devotees and Brahmins throng the chariot’s path. When He, the creator of the universe, hears their passionate hymns, his kind and generous heart throbs in unison with that of his bhakts (devotees). I pray to Shri Jagannath Swami to be the focal point of my vision and enlighten the journey of my material and spiritual life.

The Jagannath Rath Yatra is an annual temple festival that is celebrated in Puri, Odisha during India’s rainy season. While Puri which is one of the four most important places of pilgrimage in the Sanatana Dharma or Hinduism. remains the chief centre of the ‘car festival’, the annual ritual has travelled to all corners of the world where the Lord is worshipped in the form of Jagannath (Lord of the Universe).
