आषाढस्य प्रथमदिवसे मेघमाश्लिष्टसानुं

वप्रक्रीडापरिणतगजप्रेक्षणीयं ददर्श ||

On the first day of Ashadha (month), he (the yaksha) beheld a cloud, resting on the peak (of the mountain), and looking as charming as an elephant stooping and in position for striking a side-blow with his tusk, in the sport of striking against a rampart.

आषाढ़ मास के पहले दिन, उसने (यक्ष ने) पर्वत के शिखर पर झुके हुए मेघ को देखा| वह ऐसा दर्शनीय प्रतीत हो रहा था जैसे टीले से मिट्टी उखाड़ते समय तिरछे दाँतों से प्रहार करते हुए योग्य हाथी दिखाई पड़ता है|
