In the wee hours of May 7, 2025, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ and hit terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India had been planned and directed.
These steps come in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack on 22 March 2025 in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were murdered.
