जिनके कण्ठ को सर्पों के राजा हार बन कर सुशोभित कर रहे हैं, जिनके तीन नेत्र हैं, भस्म ही जिनका अङ्गराग (अनुलेपन) है, दिशायें ही जिनका वस्त्र हैं; उन शुद्ध, अविनाशी, ईश्वरों के ईश्वर – महेश्वर, “न” कार स्वरूप, शिव को नमस्कार है ॥
Salutations to the eternal Shiva who is the epitome of purity, whose neck is adorned by the king of snakes in the form of a garland, who has three eyes, whose body is smeared with sacred ash, who is the greatest Ishwar (Lord), who wears the four directions in the form of his garments and who is represented by the sacred syllable “na”.
