I pay my obeisance to the lotus feet of the son of Parvati, Shri Vigneshwara (Ganapati), who has the face of an elephant, who is served by bhutaganas (celestial beings) and other attendants, who partakes the delicious kapittha (wood apple) and jambu (rose apple) fruits and who destroys the sorrows of all beings.
