ਜਿਉ ਕਰਿ ਸੂਰਜੁ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਤਾਰੇ ਛਪਿ ਅੰਧੇਰੁ ਪਲੋਆ।

सतिगुरु नानकु प्रगटिआ मिटी धुंधु जगि चानणु होआ ।

जिउ करि सूरजु निकलिआ तारे छिपे अंधेरु पलोआ ।

With the emergence of the true guru – Guru Nanak Devji, the mist cleared and there was light all around. It was like the time when the sun rises, the stars disappear and the darkness of the night is dispelled.
