हमें पवित्र करने वाली, अन्न देकर हमें पोषित करने वाली (विद्या के उपयोग से अन्न की प्राप्ति होती है), बुद्धि के प्रयोग  द्वारा किये गये कर्मों से ऐश्वर्य प्रदान करने वाली देवी सरस्वती, ज्ञान से हमारे यज्ञ एवं पुरुषार्थ को सफल करें|

Saraswati purifies us, nourishes us and endows us with wealth (we earn our daily bread and riches by using our knowledge). May Saraswati ensure the success of our sacrifice and endeavours through actions driven by our intellect.
